RADIONICS

What is radionics?

'Radionics' is a name coined in the 1930s to describe a therapy in which healing 'thoughts', 'patterns' or 'vibrations' are directed to willing patients, no matter where they are in the world, usually by means of instruments which make no sense to physicists, but sometimes by thought alone. Radionics is a healing technique in which our natural ESP faculties are used both to discover the energetic disturbances underlying illness and to encourage the return of a normal energetic field which supports health. It is independent of the distance between practitioner and patient. Far-fetched though it sounds, a steady stream of satisfied customers claim to have benefited from it.

The fundamental proposition of Radionics is that a living body has a subtle, invisible energy field which vitalises it. A healthy physical body reflects a healthy invisible field, and the aim of radionic treatment is to maintain that field in an optimum state - whether it be that of a human, animal or even a plant. Prolonged stress and exposure to toxic substances are two common causes of a weakened field, and the aim of radionic treatment is to prevent or reverse these and other damaging effects. The nature of the energetic processes entrained in Radionics are not yet fully understood, but there is now ample evidence that we are all linked in someway at a higher level of mind, and it is believed that this is the level engaged during radionic practice. Radionic healing is not so much directed at the physical reality of the body, but rather at the invisible energy matrices which are believed to lie behind it. Radionics has never been taken seriously by mainstream science because it defies 'common sense', but in recent years physicists have demonstrated the truth of a level of reality outside the space-time 'stage' on which our lives are played out. At this level we are all connected with one another instantaneously, because neither time nor distance are real. It may be the reality from which we emerge into the world, and to which we return when our material lives are over - a reality where the pattern of perfect living beings - humans, animals, plants, microbes - is found

For the purpose of assessment and treatment, Radionics sees organs, diseases and remedies as having their own particular frequency or vibration. These factors are expressed in numerical values which are known as "rates" and radionic instruments are provided with calibrated dials on which such "rates" are set for analysis and treatment purposes. These figures have a significance more symbolic than mathematical.

Practitioners ask for some information about the client's health problem, a small sample of hair (a 'witness') and a signed request for treatment - (the client must give permission in order for the link to be established). Equipped with these, they set about assessing what is impeding the flow of subtle energies by means of pendulum dowsing, after 'tuning in' to the person via the witness. Corrective patterns or concepts are then directed to the client's subtle field via his/her hair sample by means of an instrument which makes little sense to a conventional physicist - it may just look like a box with dials on the front, and with seemingly meaningless circuitry inside. During treatment, the dials are set to coded numbers which represent states of imbalance in the subtle energies, and also the concepts needed to restore them. Treatment seems to be equally fast and effective wherever the patient is in the world - distance does not matter.

But what does all this mean in practical terms for those with health concerns? It means that in Radionics we seem to have a powerful additional strategy for managing illness. Animals respond well to radionic techniques, and 'putting him on the box' is commonplace in equestrian circles. Many people use it to promote the health of garden plants and crops. Radionic techniques, as a supplement to conventional care, are reported to be helpful in a wide range of physical and emotional problems, and can often help when conventional strategies have little to offer. Many clients use Radionics as a preventative therapy, and have regular checks on the state of their subtle energy rather like an MOT on the car! One great advantage is that those unable to travel can be treated as readily as those who can.

Maybe the world is at last ready to take Radionics seriously. In 'Vibrational Medicine for the 21^st Century' (Piatkus) Richard Gerber M.D. writes: 'Radionics is a unique healing modality in that it is a system of diagnosis and treatment geared to more than just the physical body.. It may ultimately teach us the most about the nature of healing and human consciousness itself.'
