EQUINE CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY

What is Equine CranioSacral Therapy?

This hands-on equine therapy is based upon the principles that is used in the human application of CranioSacral therapy.  It is a holistic healing method which focuses upon the central nervous system, it works by using light touch to optimize body movement. When applied correctly, this gentle and subtle technique can be highly effective in addressing a number of conditions in the horse.

Given the very gentle hand pressure used, it can often seem to an onlooker that nothing is happening however, the skin will often twitch under the practicioner's hands.  The practicioner must be able to feel the smallest movements by the horse's body, and so must be very in-tune with the horse.
